Our Projects
City Loft Corporation:

Built in 2007 on the site of a former A&P Grocery long abandoned, The Atlantic & Pacific Development brings lofts, shops, restaurants, and offices to Cloverdale. Designed by renowned McAlpine Tankersley Architecture, The A&P Lofts offer unrivaled architecture. 16 stunning lofts featuring the best in contemporary design.
Seven buildings featuring solid steel and concrete commercial construction. Built to last, the way things used to be. All buildings are mixed-use with retail or office space on the ground floor and residential living above. A true urban environment in the heart of a thriving neighborhood.

Adjacent to The Atlantic & Pacific Development are eight McAlpine Tankersley homes. These two-story, single family residences feature 3 bedrooms, private parking area & private gardens. The details and features in these beautiful McAlpine homes are unrivaled. New construction is absolutely rare in Old Cloverdale, but new construction with this level of quality is one-of-a-kind. Cottages also available on Agnew Street in Cloverdale.
Two•Four•Six Lofts
This conversion of the historic Wilcox Produce Warehouse dating from the mid-19th century into 12 contemporary lofts was competed in 2006. Located in Downtown Montgomery at 246 North Court Street, the project consists of 11 modern residential condominiums and 1 office / retail space. The lofts feature 25-foot ceiling heights, original plank hardwood pine floors, exposed original brickwork, exposed ductwork, and energy efficient features.

Hampstead is a traditional neighborhood which combines all that is vibrant & beautiful in life. It was created by a dedicated team of designers and architects, all led by the internationally acclaimed town planners, Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company, creators of Seaside and Rosemary Beach in Florida and founder of the New Urbanism.
Anchored by an authentic village center, Hampstead is alive with parks, restaurants, shops, homes, events, an urban farm, and dozens of other amenities - all within walking distance. A 416 acre traditional neighborhood development (TND) designed to allow vitality, flexibility, and longevity, Hampstead is a model of innovative, sustainable town planning.
City Loft Corporation provides the role of Directors of Design & Development. Harvi Sahota & Anna Lowder, the husband & wife team who relocated from London to Montgomery to do New Urbanist work ranging from urban in-fill to Hampstead, see it as a model for sustainable development in the new American economy.
“Hampstead illustrates that even in a difficult market, New Urbanist communities continue to surpass their suburban counterparts when consumers are offered the choice. A project that offers your daily needs, schools, churches, and places of work for a range of ages & incomes undoubtedly appeals to people once they see it. And it is a lasting appeal.”
Mercer Home:
Montgomery Living Idea House 2008

The 2008 Idea House celebrated the local materials of brick, stone, wood and metal-work within a contemporary home. The result is a comfortable, elegant home for any stage of life with a flexible floor plan, private courtyard garden, and walkable community at your front door.
The 2008 Hampstead Idea House shows how well you can live in a smaller, efficient space. With so many of us focused today on energy & resource conservation as well as watching our family budgets, this makes a lot of sense. This house shows how to maximize space and live a healthier, greener life.
Montgomery Living Idea House 2009

The 2009 Montgomery Living Holiday House was inspired by the architectural work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh - his renowned design of Hill House in Scotland inspired the exterior features of this home. The result is a handsome facade featuring detailed windows, custom paver window sills, parapet brick walls, and striking chimney profile.
The floor plan appeals to all ages. The light-filled home sits on a corner lot with views of Hampstead Farms & neighborhood park. The three bedrooms are all large and open, and the formal courtyard is private and serene.
At Mercer Home, we focus on creating homes that reflect both value & the personalities of our buyers. So we insist on quality hardware, elegant trim & millwork, handmade cabinets, beautiful lighting, and quality flooring. These are our standards, and the effect is one of lasting quality and a unique home.
