2011 Congress for the New Urbanism Charter Awards Recognition for Hampstead
City Loft Corporation’s submission of the Hampstead traditional neighborhood development was recognized for this international award as one of a select group of projects world-wide that is using New Urbanism to help in “reshaping and redeeming our cities and towns.” This is Alabama’s only CNU Charter Award Winner.

2008 Congress for the New Urbanism Charter Award Winner
City Loft Corporation’s The Atlantic & Pacific Development was selected for this international award as 1 of only 15 recipients world-wide that “set the standard for today’s urbanism.” This is Alabama’s only CNU Charter Award Winner.
The seven-member jury of leading urbanists featured Andrés Duany serving as chair. In fulfilling and advancing the principles of the Charter of the New Urbanism, the projects reveal the power of well-executed urbanism to strengthen communities, achieve broader sustainability and create places worthy of respect and admiration.
